i'll admit right here and now, its def not all to good. but i think its not half bad for a first time photo manipulation. comments would be nice, hopefully, if my psCS3 would stop actin up i could do a couple more.

It's better than my first manipulation was.
Here are a couple tips:
Try to pay special attention to the color and lighting of the pieces that you plan to put together. Do you see how the background is quite dark and the mermaid isn't really dark at all? I can send you a note explaining how I fix this, if you want or not, it's cool.
Also, the mermaid is a bit rough around the edges. I can also help you with this, if you would like some help.
I have been photo-manipulating for a little over a year and I've gotten a lot better than I was when I started. It just takes practice and paying attention to detail and other people's work.

Your cut out is a bit rough - Try using feather. Also, you should've done a bluish tint on her, since it's a nighttime scene.

Ask the other girl for help. I know she'll be better than me anyway.
